Services for the Differently Abled Children

The differently abled children are neglected a lot in the rural communities as they are perceived as a burden to the family. RASS, realizing the complex nature of the problems of disabled children, has undertaken the task of initiating a program for the interaction of disabled children in the mainstream.

Thus, this special program Vikas Vihar was born at Tiruttani in 2008. The center caters to 55 special children and so far 82 special children benefited from the project. The program is being run with the support of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
