Farmers Mutually Aided Cooperative Societies

Institutional credit is one of the major supporting factors for the farming community. Farmer collective will be another factor for rising of their voices as well as for information sharing. Keeping in view of the above, RASS has promoted 5 such collectives in all the respective watersheds registered under MACS act of 1995 to serve the objectives of –

  • Promoting collectives of farmers and
  • Providing financial services and discipline among the
  • Strengthening the farmer’s
  • Promoting farmer’s collectives including training and capacity

Started in the year 2015, the initiative is to benefit 2135 farmer families in 59 habitations in Chinnagottigallu, Pulicherla and Piler Mandals of Chittoor District in Andhra Pradesh.
